News for those running Debian GNU/Linux:
A bugfix release of the latest Lire Debian package,
lire_20020214-3_all.deb is available for testing. It fixes a bug in the
way the lire user was created on the system. (See
http://bugs.debian.org/138617 .) I uploaded the package to the
LogReport server; add
deb http://logreport.org/pub/debian local contrib
deb-src http://logreport.org/pub/debian local contrib
to your /etc/apt/sources.list if you'd like to install and test the
package. Running
# apt-get update && apt-get install lire && apt-get clean
will get you going.
If no new bugs get found, I'll upload the package to the Debian archives
within one or two days, so that it's just in time to get shipped with
the Debian woody release.
Awaiting your test results, Bye,
Joost
