Annual Report 2002, new payed Lire developers

The Stichting LogReport Annual Report 2002 is published, it's available
from http://logreport.org/about/report2002.php .  It gives an overview
of both the activities of the development team during the year,
including some statisistics, as well as financial information.

Since August 19, 2003, Francis Lacoste together with Wolfgang Sourdeau
are payed for their work on Lire.  You know Francis.  Wolfgang is of
ghfaxviewer, the GNU HaliFAX Viewer, fame, and is a volunteer for the
Debian project.

The agreement with Francis and Wolfgang is based upon an impressive
roadmap.  The first and major item of this is reimplementing the Lire
backend using the SQLite fast embedded SQL database engine.  This will
not only improve flexibility, but also speed of Lire.  Wolfgang and
Francis have already started on this job, CVS commits are now happening.
