We are pleased to announce the availability of Lire 2.0. One year after the
start of the 2.0 project, it is now completed.

The main improvements since the latest 1.5 version are

- Much improved HTML and PDF formats without any dependencies on
  the DocBook tools.
- It is now possible to have more than one superservice in a report.
- Report configurations are editable through the lire(1) command.
- New chart types: scatterplot, distribution plot and stacked plot.
- Charts are much more configurable through the lire(1) command.
- New APIs for DlfAnalysers and OutputFormats.
- Many other changes and bug fixes.

More details can be found on the release page
(http://logreport.org/lire/lire20.php) and in the NEWS file
(http://logreport.org/lire/NEWS.php).

This release received extensive testing on Debian Sid, Solaris 2.9 and Fedora
Core 2.

It is available in source form or as binary RPMS for Fedora Core 2.
Binary package for Debian Sid should be available from
the Debian mirrors very soon.
