<p>For Debian GNU/Linux, the line would read</p>

<pre>deb http://apt.logreport.org/pub/debian local contrib</pre>

<p>More details on our <a href="/lire/dl.php">download
page</a>.</p>

</li><li>2003-03-19:
<p>Thanks to the kind donation of Guus Sliepen we now have a dedicated
download site! The old links will redirect you transparently, except in
the case of apt: Debian users may want to change the hostname of the
Lire-related lines in their /etc/apt/sources.list from
  (www.)logreport.org into download.logreport.org. Happy downloading!</p>

</li><li>2002-12-29:
<p>New RPMS for Mandrake 9.0, Red Hat 7.3 and Red Hat 8.0 were released.
They contain an important bug fix for the lr_vendor_cron script which
is responsible for automatic report generation. The RPMS can be
<a href="/pub/rpm">downloaded</a> or fetched through urpmi and apt-get.</p>

</li><li>2002-12-04:
<p>Wessel gave a presentation on the use of XML in Lire at the <a href="http://www.sgml-ug.nl/HTML/frame_congres/congres2002/02workshop.htm">XML and
OpenSource Workshop</a> in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, on the 13th of

are available from this website now.</p>

</li><li>2002-12-03:
<p>There is a 1.2.1 release available which fixes an important bug

The new release is available from <a href="/pub/">here</a>.</p>

<p>Updated RPMS for Mandrake 9.0, Red Hat 7.3 and Red Hat 8.0 are available
  <a href="/pub/rpm">here</a> or through urpmi and apt-get.</p>

</li><li>2002-11-30:
<p>Users of Mandrake 9.0 can now use <code>urpmi</code> to install and update
the Lire RPMS. Details can be found on our <a href="/lire/dl.php">download
  page</a>.</p>

</li><li>2002-11-30:
<p>Users who run Red Hat 7.3 or Red Hat 8.0 and use
  <a href="http://apt4rpm.sourceforge.net">apt-rpm</a> to keep
their installation up-to-date, can also use it with Lire.
Details on how to access the RPMS APT archive can be found on our <a href="/lire/dl.php">download page</a>.</p>

</li><li>2002-11-28:
<p>There have been shifts in <a href="/about/team.php">the LogReport
team</a>: Since November 1, 2002, Josh Koenig no longer works on a
contract basis for LogReport. He'll likely continue contributing bits and
pieces as time goes on, and will continue selling <a href="http://LogReport.com">LogReport.com</a> consultancy.</p>

<p>Since November 1, Joost van Baal has decreased his weekly payed hours
  spent on LogReport work.</p>

<p>This means the list of people, being payed by the LogReport Foundation for
working on Lire, now is: Joost van Baal, Wessel Dankers and Francis J.
  Lacoste.</p>

<p>This does <strong>not</strong> mean we'll reconsider our plans with Lire,
as layed down in our <acronym title="Broken link to /pub/current/doc/roadmap/">roadmap</acronym>.
However, more <a href="/dev/">volunteer help</a> is welcome always, of
  course. How about you?</p>

internal DLF data. Lire's architecture has been altered to make it more
pluggable and developer documentation has been expanded and improved. For all
the details, check the <a href="/pub/current/NEWS">NEWS</a> file. As

services to customers who are interested in making use of Lire in their
organization. The LogReport team will continue to offer support to all of our
.org users and contributors, but commercial and institutional clients can now

  consultation and dedicated support.</p>

</li><li>2002-07-25:

<p>The major new features and improvements include report merging (both over
time and over servers) and new services for Cisco PIX firewalls and
PostgreSQL query logs. Furthermore, output in Excel95 spreadsheet format is
now supported, making it easy to include Lire reports in business
presentations as well as generate those sexy 3d charts.</p>

<p>More details are in the <a href="/pub/current/NEWS">NEWS</a> file.
Binary packages for RPM based GNU/Linux systems are available <a href="/pub/rpm/">here</a>. Debian packages coming soon.</p>

<p>We have planned many further upgrades to the system based on all the helpful
comments from users and fellow developers. Our development will be focused on
making the Lire framework even more robust, with power features like an SQL
back-end and interactive cross-service reports on the visible horizon.
Special thanks to those of you who've contributed ideas, logfiles and
development time. We hope you'll like Lire 1.0 as much as we do!</p>
