Francis has already started implementing this, I believe.  I'd prefer to
call the dlf format 'lire' instead of 'exec'.  It would be nice if some
of the programs's informational messages could return in the dlf. I'm
thinking of lr_getbody, which now states:

"all all lr_tag-20010829070150-21790 lr_getbody info submitter Joe User <joe.user at example.com>"

and lr_log2mail which now states:

"www apache lr_tag-20010829111705-32019 lr_log2mail info sent report about apache to joe.user at example.com"

Perhaps we could have a dlf where one line represents one program run,
and another dlf where one line represents one entire job, from receiving
an email containing a raw log to the sending of a report.
