Thanks a lot, it's a nice patch.  I've included it in our bind9-query2dlf
manpage.  (I assume you do not object.)

The only hint at how to operate I could find is in the bind-9.1.3 README
file:

        If you're planning on making changes to the BIND 9 source
        code, you might want to join the BIND 9 Workers mailing list.
        Send mail to

                bind9-workers-request at isc.org

No archives of this list are advertised on the http://isc.org/ website,
unfortunately.
