problem with pdfjadetex

hi all,

i have this strange problem:

egonw at garak:~/data/Projects/logreport/cvs/lire-head/doc$ pdfjadetex roadmap
This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159-1.00a-pretest-20011114-ojmw (Web2C 7.3.7)
(Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)

and then exits...

my current version is 
+++-=================-=================-=================
ii  jadetex           3.11-2            LaTeX macros for SGML to DVI/PS/PDF...

I've dist-upgraded my Debian system last weekend... and since then it fails...

Joost, do you have this problem too on your woody system?
