Again, this is site specific since over here JBloggs and jbloggs
couldn't be the same user (usernames are case-sensitive).
But I agree that it would be a good thing for Lire to provide some hooks
for site-specific issue like this. Short-terms plans include the
development of an improvemed configuration framework which will make it
easier to configure that sort of things.
