I just made some minor changes, see CVS.

I just tried wether current Lire CVS still yields an installable tarball:

 echo 1.2.1.99-20030109-cvs > VERSION
 ./bootstrap && ./configure && make distcheck

(This is running now, I'll report on the outcome to you later.)

You can do this yourself; the needed tools are listed in Chapter 13 of
our Developer Manual.  Otherwise, I can upload the thus generated CVS
snapshot tarball to our webserver.  Let me know if you're interested.

We don't have a SunONE Messaging Server log file in our private
LogReport log file archive, and I don't think Francis has one either.
You might want to offer us one, for debugging purposes.  Otherwise,
you'll have to do the debugging yourself ;-).
