Give the man a kewpie doll.

ftp xferlog lr_tag-20030616154145-11260 lr_xml2report info gonna run
lr_xml2ascii on
/tmp/lr_log2report.xferlog.lr_tag-20030616154145-11260.report.PycK1t.xml
ftp xferlog lr_tag-20030616154145-11260 lr_xml2ascii info started with no
argument
ftp xferlog lr_tag-20030616154145-11260 lr_xml2ascii info parsing xml
finished
bogus message: /usr/local/bin/lr_xml2report: line 253: 11349 Segmentation
fault lr_xml2ascii <$XMLREPORTFILE
ftp xferlog lr_tag-20030616154145-11260 lr_xml2report err lr_xml2ascii
failed
ftp xferlog lr_tag-20030616154145-11260 lr_log2report err lr_xml2report
failed

ASCII output segfaults also.

XML parser was installed from RedHat RPMS, as was expat

perl-XML-Parser-2.31-15
expat-1.95.5-2

Is there any information I can provide to make debugging easier? Anything I
should look at or different versions of software to try?

Matt

Hmm, unfortunately, the answer is more like "don't run it on Red Hat 9".

Another user reported a segfault under Red Hat 9.0. We don't know yet if the
problem lies in the XML::Parser::Expat module, the expat library itself,
perl 5.8.0 or the libc.

How was XML::Parser installed? From Red Hat provided RPMS ?

The problem doesn't seem to be related to ploticus or GD. Did you try
generated ASCII reports (this should also ends in segfault for the same
report).

Kind regards
