Thank a million Francis,

I hoped it would be a wee bit easier! My problem is that I will not have 
the time to develope it like that! My project has to finished in one 
month and I still have a couple of todos on my list! Besides that I am 
pretty new to Perl. So I have to find another way! (e. g.: "lr_run 
sendmail2dlf /tmp/maillog.log > /tmp/dlf_email; mysqlimport --local 
--fields-terminated-by=" " logDb /tmp/dlf_email;")

Anyway now that I know how to do it I may will be able to use it for 
some other future projects and commit something then!

Again thanks for the time you took to give me that detailed answer!
