[774] $ zcat /nerdc/log/smtp-relay/2004/mail-2004-09-14.gz |
./lr_log2report -o xml sendmail > /home/osg/2004-09-14-mail.xml
lr_log2report: ERROR gzip exited with non zero status: 0

This is baffling me. Why is it dying on gzip when the log is already
uncompressed? I've even uncompressed the log by hand and attempted to
run lr_log2report against the uncompressed log file (as opposed to
piping it in), same mystifying results.

I'm running Lire 2.0 on an x86 Gentoo Linux machine. All of the
dependencies should be in place, except I might not have a compatible
gzip as this error shows? If it helps, gzip 1.3.3.

Anyone have similar issues?
