I suggest that you use DBD-SQLite 0.31 or earlier. From version 1.00, 
DBD-SQLite switched to SQLite 3.0 whereas 2.8 was used earlier.

For one thing, database from version 2.8 aren't compatible with version 3. A 
dump and restore is required to convert the old database to the new format. 
The SQLite3 has also a new API and *it was never tested* with Lire.

I'll update the web site to specify that no version newer than 0.31 should be 
used.
