More problems installing...

Folks,

Okay, I figured I'd try making & installing this software on a
different machine, this time a Sun UltraSPARC E250 running Solaris 7.
I get a slightly different error this time (the same whether I use
Solaris make or Gnu make):

		$ make
		Making all in all
		Making all in etc
		Making all in lib
		Making all in man
		Making all in script
		Making all in src
mksh: Fatal error in reader: = missing from replacement macro reference
		Current working directory /usr/local/src/logreport/lr-20001211/all/src
		*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive'
		Current working directory /usr/local/src/logreport/lr-20001211/all
		make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

Any ideas? Is this thing intended to be available exclusively
for Debian Linux?
