Thanks! Your dlf file looks ok. And indeed, I can generate a report out
of it:

lrrcv at gelfand ~$ export LR_HOME=$HOME/logreport
lrrcv at gelfand ~$ export SUPERSERVICE=email
lrrcv at gelfand ~$ export LR_SYSCONFDIR=$HOME/logreport/etc/logreport
 lrrcv at gelfand ~$ . ~/logreport/etc/logreport/profile_lean
 lrrcv at gelfand ~$ . ~/logreport/etc/logreport/defaults

 lrrcv at gelfand ~/logreport/lib/logreport$ ./lr_dlf2report \
   /var/tmp/knowles.dlf email > /var/tmp/knowles.report

gives me the report I've sent you off list.

BTW, there's no need to generate the report the way I've shown
you above. Using lr_log2report should do it from the raw log.
That script has a nicer interface: you don't need to set this
whole bunch of configuration variables, and source a load of
files.

It seems the first stage, i.e. converting the log to dlf-format
went ok. The second stage failed, for some reason. Perhaps
you could sent me the stuff you got on stderr while generating
the report? E.g., do, in case of a sendmail logfile,

 dlf_log2report ./lr_log2report email sendmail < \
  /var/log/logfile > /tmp/report 2> /tmp/err

 mail -s err joostvb at logreport.org < /tmp/err

O, uh, btw: there are reasons it's called "gory". But I guess you
know by now.

Bye,
