How to read compressed log files

Hello,
I have just installed LogReport, to monitor our Postfix logfiles automatically
via a cron job.
The first daily report failed, most probably because the logfiles are
automatically compressed when rotated and logrepor is not told to first
uncompress them.
The logfile file to read is /var/log/maillo.0.gz
If it is possible that logreport uncompresses the file to read it, how do I tell
it to do so ?
I assume the config option to change is in
/usr/local/etc/lire/email/daily.postfix.1.local . Is it the "filter" line which
needs to have the correct argument ? If yes, could anybody let me have the
necessary data to add ?
With many thanks in advance !
