This is a documentation error. IP Filter will only be supported in our
next release. We are currently in code freeze and we expect to publish
the official release at the beginning of December. 

If you would like to test the IP Filter service, there is a CVS
snapshots available at 

http://www.loreport.org/pub/cvs-snapshots/lire-full-20011117-unstable.tar.gz

We are very much interested in any feedback you can give us.
