I've released a new version of the Lire RPMs for the 20011205 release.

You can download them from

http://www.logreport.org/pub/rpm/lire-20011205-2.noarch.rpm
http://www.logreport.org/pub/rpm/lire-html-20011205-2.noarch.rpm
http://www.logreport.org/pub/rpm/lire-pdf-20011205-2.noarch.rpm

Two new packages are available:lire-html and lire-pdf which add support
for other output formats then ASCII. (lire-html adds
support for HTML, XHTML, LogML and DocBook XML; lire-pdf adds support
for PDF and RTF).

The lire-html and lire-pdf contains all the DocBook XML requirements. I
didn't use "Requires" type of dependencies because not all distributions
use the same name and packaged the required dependencies.

You can find the needed RPMs (libxml2 and libxslt) for HTML and PDF
output at

ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/redhat/i386/libxml
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/redhat/i386/libxslt

To include charts in your reports, you will need to install the
GD::Graph perl module separately (http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-module/GD/).
No RPM for this module exists. If there is demand for one, I will package one.

The RPMs are signed using my GPG signature.

As last time, those RPMs were developed and tested under RedHat 6.2 but
should work on most RPM-based distributions.

I'm interested in all success stories and problems regarding those RPMs.

Thanks for your interest in LogReport, kind Regards,

Francis J. Lacoste
