rpm on RedHat 7.2

Just some desaterous remarks tryin to install lire on Redhat 7.2
lire seems to need also when I install the html version only to need
the pdf libxslt stuff.
It has nothing to do with lire but these libs clearly need de development
rpm as well... :-(
So I started to rpm -U all the latest libxslt and libxml rpm's from RedHat:
libxml-1.8.16-1.i386.rpm
libxml2-2.4.12-1.i386.rpm
bxml2-devel-2.4.12-1.i386.rpm
libxml-devel-1.8.16-1.i386.rpm
libxslt-1.0.9-1.i386.rpm
as your Readme gave as ftp url's.

RedHat had howev er updated libxml-devel-1.8.16-1.i386.rpm with 1.8.16-2
No problem however:
rpm -U lire-20011205-2.noarch.rpm lire-html-20011205-2.noarch.rpm
came back to me:
error: failed dependencies:
    libxslt >= 1.0.4 is needed by lire-html-20011205-2

so: RedHat is not sync'ed with the latest own updates for libxslt
and lire rpm test on latest libxslt is not ok? even when no pdf as 
output is required.

hopefully this all is due to my alcohol percentage during X-mas:-)?
