merging 2 xml reports into another one

Well, actually, that's not a bogus report at all. It's just the output 
of strftime(3) which is confusing.

If you take a look at the generated XML reports, you'll see that the
value attribute (which contains the epoch time) *has* different time in
each element. It justs that because of dailight saving time change, both
epoch values are mapped to the same string.
