newbie - no content in report

Hi,

I'm trying to run log report on a postfix log using the command:

lr_run lr_log2report -o html postfix < /home/ftp/src/rsl59/mail.log > 
postfix.tar

But the output is saying: No content in report.

Could anyone help me out please?
