LIRE CoreDump With Graphs

Hi,

I've successfully installed onto a i386 machine equipped with LINUX REDHAT 9
latest LIRE version including all packages requested for generating HTML
reports.

Unfortunately while running LIRE without the "-i" option - so with no
graphs - the execution succeeded, while requiring graphs to be included into
the HTML report LIRE made a core dump generating the following message:

[root at lmizzi]# ./lr_run lr_log2report -o html -i syslog <
/var/log/messages.1 > ../HTML_Report_Graphs.tar
bogus message: /home/lmizzi/maxcicca/lire/libexec/lire/lr_xml2html: line 87:
20242 Segmentation fault (core dumped) lr_xml2chart -o $tmpreportdir
<$file >$xmlfile
syslog syslog lr_tag-20030924074730-20127 lr_xml2report err lr_xml2html
failed
syslog syslog lr_tag-20030924074730-20127 lr_log2report err lr_xml2report
failed

Note that SYSLOG file was #1 so nearly 78 KB in size as hereinafter
reported:

# ls -l /var/log/messages*
-rw------- 1 root root 23787 Sep 24 07:38 /var/log/messages
-rw------- 1 root root 78772 Sep 22 10:28 /var/log/messages.1
-rw------- 1 root root 217831 Sep 15 15:52 /var/log/messages.2
-rw------- 1 root root 87728 Sep 8 11:37 /var/log/messages.3
-rw------- 1 root root 195832 Sep 1 11:48 /var/log/messages.4

If you need I've also collected the relevant CORE file (it's a little bit
greater than 2MB once gzipped): please do not hesitate to contact me if you
require it for your investigation.

Thanks in advance,

Massimiliano
