MailScanner snd SpamAssassin

Hi.
I've recently rolled out Mailscanner on all of the mail servers here, and was 
wondering if there's a way to use Lire to analise those logs. I found a post 
on this list dated: Tue, 21 Oct 2003 from wytze(a)nlnet.nl with a converter 
to use. 

I've taken his work and followed the instructions and now when I do 
'lr_check_service -l', mailscanner shows up. However when I run: 'lr_run 
lr_log2report -o txt mailscanner < /var/log/mailscanner' I get the following 
out puts:
spamfilter mailscanner lr_tag-20040206104507-26212 lr_store warning Use of 
uninitialized value in <HANDLE> at (eval 7) line 175.
spamfilter mailscanner lr_tag-20040206104507-26212 lr_store warning readline()

Anyone know of how to fix this?? I'd really like to keep using lire, it's such 
wonderful software!
