Config question

Dear fellow Lire users,

I just installed lire 1.5 from source on a debian sarge machine. Alls
this went fine. While reading the docs, I thought that I understood
lire to work like this :

1) You run lire
2) You add a store (mail)
3) You add import jobs (mail)
4) You add a report job
5) You save that bunch
6) Run lr_cron hourly /etc/lire/mail every hour to process the job.

If this logic is correct, I should find my html output in my dir
specified in the report job. This is not the case. My question to you
is, how can I debug this ?
