[SOS] Questions about LIRE automating...

Hi guy's,

I'm currently running an Debian'sid'@2.6.6 and my Lire version is 1.5

I've tried to manually generate reports from my mail and www server in
various
formats with the 'lr_log2report' script, and it works very fine !

Now, I would like to use Lire's stores functionnality in conjunction with
Logrotate, for creating automated daily and weekly based reports.

To make this works, I would use the following cycling process:

1-Daemon eg: Postfix generate his '/var/log/mail.log'

2-Each morning at 06:25 a cron job runs logrotate which compresses and
    makes rotate it (eg: mail.log.0.gz, mail.log.1.gz, mail.log.2.gz...)

3-Each night at 00:00 a cron job runs 'lr_cron daily
/var/lib/lire/mail',
import the 'mail.log.xxx.gz' and generate the daily 'light report'...

4-Each week eg: Sunday evening at 01:00 a cron job runs 'lr_cron weekly
/var/lib/lire/mail', and generate the weekly 'big report' based on the
'daily imports' aggregated in the DLF...

    5-Etc...

Now, the questions:

1-is this method seems to be relevant or not ?

2- how can I define the path to the log in Lire jobs according
that the rotated log's name change every days ?
(I've read about the interpolation feature in the lire interface,
but I'm not sure it can help me for this pb).

3-I've tried to configure the corresponding store's jobs in Lire's
stores
interface, but it don't works at all !

With Apache, the import side of the job seems to works after executing it,
the
'DFL Streams' window displays:

-----------------
lire_import_log
lire_import_sta$
www
-----------------

But the report side of the job dont works, I've tried with all formats, in
mail or
files config...that don't works any more !

With Postfix, the import and report jobs don't works at all, I've tried to
debug it in
syslog but I don't see anything about Lire...

I don't really now how to circumvent it, while waiting I'm gonna 'manually'
run
my report with a sympatico cron...but I'm really disapointed.

So, thanks a lot for your precious help !

Camille from Paris.
