joostvb at nagy:/usr/local/src/lire% tar zxf lire-2.0.1.tar.gz
joostvb at nagy:/usr/local/src/lire% cd lire-2.0.1
joostvb at nagy:/usr...ocal/src/lire/lire-2.0.1% ./configure

work around debianism:

joostvb at nagy:/usr...ocal/src/lire/lire-2.0.1% cat DBD/SQLite2.pm
package DBD::SQLite2;
use DBD::SQLite;
1;

joostvb at nagy:/usr...ocal/src/lire/lire-2.0.1% make
....
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/lire/lire-2.0.1/extras'
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/lire/lire-2.0.1'
make[1]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/lire/lire-2.0.1'
joostvb at nagy:/usr...ocal/src/lire/lire-2.0.1%

Hrm...

Perhaps you should just download lire-2.0.1.tar.gz again, and retry.

BTW: there are also Lire RPM's, these might work for you. See
http://download.logreport.org/pub/rpm/ and
http://download.logreport.org/pub/rpm/README.txt .

Bye,
