Actually, there is :-)

1. Run lire(1)
2. Create a new store.
3. In the Report Template section, add an email_default template.
4. Edit the template.
5. Create a new section (or edit the section where you want the reports to 
appear)
6. Select the tracked-senders report in the pulldown menu and click add.
7. Repeat for the tracked-recipients.
8. You may want to edit these subreports parameters.

The only drawbacks is that the interface doesn' t enable you to save this 
report template in a XML file you could use with lr_log2report. It is only 
accessible from the store.

One thing you can do though is open the <store>/config.xml file and copy the 
report template in another XML that you can reuse.
