Should work OK, and it does to a certain degree as I understand
from your success with sendmail and syslog files.

The most likely cause for this is an incorrect input format.
You can consult 'man postfix2dlf' to see what is expected.
Or if you are willing to send us a small excerpt from your postfix
logfile, we can probably see immediately what the problem is.

That is actually quite expected, as the postfix example on the web site
does not have syslog time stamps prepended to the log lines (they have
been omitted for clarity). However, a real logfile should have such time
stamps, otherwise sensible reports are impossible.

Unfortunately, the on-line responder service is temporarily out of
operation, due to an incomplete system upgrade. As soon as the service
has been restored (but I don't know yet when that will be), you should
receive a report reply -- but if it's the same logfile, it will likely
fail too. So if you send us a small excerpt from yout logfile as discussed
above, we can probably give you a solution much faster.
