hey friends,
This is my first post to this mailing list.I think lire is one of the
best softwares on reporting part.I am having few problems in
configuring New DLF stores.I am using Fedora Core 3 and using Lire
2.0.1 version
This is how I created a new store.
a) Ran the command "lire" from the command line.
b) Create a new store --> /var/www/html/testing/email_reports.
c) Import Jobs -->
name : email_daily
period: daily
service: postfix
log_file: /var/log/maillog
filter: /bin/zcat
d) Report Jobs
name: email_daily1
schedules:
period: daily
e) Output Jobs
name: email_daily1
format: html
destination: file ( Do i have to give the path for
this file ?)
f) Report Configurations: email_default
g) The cron entry for this is follows
0 1 * * * /usr/local/bin/lr_cron daily /var/www/html/testing
But there are no reports generated by this.
I can manually generate reports with
lr_log2rotate --output html postfix /var/log/maillog
/var/www/html/email_reports.
I want to generate daily,weekly,monthly and yearly details.
Do I have disable logrotate entries for mysql,postfix,ftp,apache .So
that the log files like /var/log/maillog are not rotated ?
Please help me in configuring daily,weekly ,monthly and yearly reports
for email(postfix),ftp(vsftp),mysql ,apache and for few other
softwares(which are supported by lire).
Thanks & Regards
Ankush Grover
