how to create new dlf stores for generating daily,weekly ,montly and yearly reports(second time post)

I guess your cronjob should look like

BTW, there are prebuild RPMs for Lire too (they might need updating,

1) Did I followed the right way to create new dlf store.

This is how I created new dlf store.



a) Ran the command "lire" from the command line.

b) Create a new store --> /var/www/html/testing/email _reports.

c) Import Jobs -->

name : email_daily
period: daily
service: postfix
log_file: /var/log/maillog
filter: /bin/zcat

d) Report Jobs

name: email_daily1
schedules:
period: daily

e) Output Jobs

name: email_daily1
format: html
destination: file ( Do i have to give the path for
this file ?)

f) Report Configurations: email_default



 
2) Do I have to stop logrotate script for maillog,mysql etc. means for 
whatever logs I want to generate the reports.
