Conceptual question about qmail log file

Hi,
I have a conceptual question about how to make a qmail log file more
easy to read for a human. For instance:
Imagine a table output of a qmail log file showing a row for each
message sent/received, with columns for sender | recipient/s | start
time | end time | status.
The challenge when creating this is to concatenate the relevant lines of
the qmail log file/s as there is no GUID available.
I am wondering what the Lire normalisation and analysis processes might
do and whether the resultant DLF would make it easier for us to pull
together the above mentioned table? Perhaps if Lire is not the solution,
you could mention another off the shelf alternative.
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Marc
