[LogReport Questions] qmail multilogs

Hello, I was wondering if someone can point me to or post some info
regarding a howto on getting some output.

all the qmail logs are in /var/log/qmail/

i have tried to

cat /var/log/qmail/current | tai64nlocal > qmail.lire.logs

then i used

lr_log2report qmail qmail.lire.logs ~/mail.log.stats.lire

but the output is empty

Extracted 0 DLF records on 49206 lines.
Encountered 49206 errors and ignored 0 lines.
Running analysers...
Generating XML report...
Formatting report as txt in /root/mail.log.stats.lire...

so is there a reason why its not seeing any DLF records?
