Hello All,

I have problems generating reports form DLF stores.

Running the command:

/etc/lire/bin/lr_cron daily /var/log/lire/myproxystore

Ends up with the message:

An error occured: missing 'cfg' parameter at /etc/lire/share/perl5/Lire/ReportSchedule.pm: 246

I´m running Debian testing (etch) with Lire 2.0.2. I have installed all dependent packages and compiled Lire 2.0.2 installing at /etc/lire. Then I have configured DLF Stores at /var/log/lire/myproxystore/ (for squid logs), /var/log/lire/myemailstore/ (for sendmail logs), /var/log/lire/mywwwstore/ (for apache logs, general). The database files inside of these folders are generated sucessfully and are growing whenever I run the corresponding commands. But no reports are generated. It´s the same for all three DLF stores.

Second problem:

The command is run as root.
It´s not possible to run the command as lire:

Su lire /etc/lire/bin/lr_cron daily /var/log/lire/myproxystore

/etc/lire/bin/lr-cron: line 5: use: command not found
. . .
(several more of these lines follow)

When I try to configure lire saying "lire -> preferences -> operational preferences -> lr_test_uid -> (switch to) "No" -> ok
That change is never stored. Iy you close Lire and open it again the switch is always "Yes".

Third problem:

I have compiled Lire because the original installation using simply "apt-get install lire" is not functional: The installation completed without any error, one can start lire without any error, but the configuration of an DLF store cannot be completed. When pressing "ok" during the configuration of stores and reports the program crashes and the window closes.

Running:

Lr_run le_log2report squid_access < /var/log/squid/access.log.1 > /var/log/lire/proxyreport.txt

Runs without problemd and gives very nice results.

It would be great if anyone could help

Best regards

Joachim Beck
